About Greg Baird
Greg is a Children’s Ministry veteran with over 20 years ministry experience. His life calling is:
…to obey the Lord’s command to make disciples by reaching the lives of children everywhere through whatever means the Lord allows.
Greg has had the privilege of serving in four San Diego area churches, including under the leadership of both John Maxwell and David Jeremiah. He continues to fulfill his life calling through the ministry of Kidmin360 & KidMinJobs, offering an experienced voice in equipping and connecting Children’s Ministry leaders around the country and around the world.
Additional ministry experience includes:
- Leading Children’s Ministry in churches of 500, 2000, 4500 and 7000 average weekly attendance
- Serving in multi-site, mobile (school) & state of the art (Wacky World designed) environments
- Being the first children’s pastor at three of the four churches, allowing him to learn & apply ministry skills from the ground up
- Serving as the only Kidmin staff member & overseeing multi-staff teams
- Over-seeing the establishment of a weekday church-campus preschool
- Serving as Family/Administrative Pastor in one church in addition to overseeing Children’s Ministry
- Creating a non-profit Children’s Ministry equipping organization (Kids In Focus) which served dozens of churches both locally & nationally
- Creating the Children’s Ministry Spring Training One-Day Conference, which averaged an attendance of over 500 during 8 years in existence (annually in both San Diego and West Covina)
- Speaking nationally for Group Publishing (Children’s Ministry LIVE One-Day Seminars) for 5 years in over 30 cities around the country
- Serving as a featured leadership workshop track presenter for Kidology’s 10 year anniversary conference
- Served as keynote Children’s Ministry track speaker for CMTA and other local conferences
- Presented dozens of workshops for conferences nationally, including the Children’s Pastor’s Conference & many others
- Written multiple articles for Children’s Ministry, Outreach, K! magazines
- Taught the first Master’s level Children’s Ministry course in Russia (Moscow, 2002)
- Led equipping teams to provide conferences & training overseas in Australia (2004), the Philippines (2007) and Swaziland/South Africa (2008)

The more important part of Greg’s life:
- Greg married way over his head when he married Michele in 1992. Michele is an experienced marketer & an incredible Mom
- Two teenage boys, Taylor & Garret, keep Greg active as together they love to explore the outdoors, throw the football around, watch cool movies & give Mom a hard time
Other things about Greg:
- He grew up traveling the world, first as a military brat (living in 4 states and Japan by the time he was eight) and a missionary kid (moving to Tasmania, Australia for his high school years)
- He loves sports – World Cup soccer, the Chargers and Padres top the list
- He loves to read, write and rarely stops thinking about Children’s Ministry and leadership
